I visited the Udvar-Hazy Center last weekend, and I took a ton of photos. Here is me sharing those photos with you. Enjoy the crazy assortment of Airplanes, Spacecraft, Engines, and Photoshops by McMike.
Yes, this is the plane that Dropped the Atomic Bomb. I hope It isn't radioactive anymore.
One of the Wright Fliers. Not the original, though, that was destroyed in a crash.
The Nazi Horton Ho
The Glider Version
This is the Restoration Hangar where they are well, restoring airplanes.
Last time I was here, The Enterprise was on display. This is the Discovery, the one that has been to space.
Just imagine the power that these things put out.
Outer Space has touched this, remember.
Who doesn't like a few good cruise missiles?
POWAAAAAAAAH!
This is what makes a Harrier, or a X-35B hover.
A REAL drone.
Prepare yourselves......
The Engines are coming.
Probably the only 9 cylinder engine I have ever seen.
This thing was A 100% solar powered unmanned aircraft
P.S- GO RAVENS!

This place is a 40 minute drive from my house. Whenever I go, I'm always struck by how small these aircraft actually are. You see things like the B-29 in documentaries and think they are huge, but they aren't. They are tiny.

My wife's father was one of the driving forces behind getting the West Virginia C 121 Constellation that is in that museum there. He flew on it as a navigator and wrote her a message on one of the flaps that we saw a few months ago when we were there. It was cool. He flew on C130s (rollin' down the strip) also.

Great photos! My dad and I visited Washington, I spent the bulk of my time at this building and the one at the Mall. I liked this building more, there are so many awesome and historical planes.

Hey, look! Tyler is right. It's not even in inventory, and it is already outdated and ready for the museum!

This is a F-35 layout, not harrier.
